5si Looking for Volunteers to Read To Kids
10/31/2008 5si will be participating in a read aloud at the Drew Charter School in East Lake in Atlanta on the morning of Thursday, Nov. 20th. Volunteers meet at Drew at 8:15 a.m. for a brief orientation, coffee and doughnuts, and then head to the kindergarten – 2nd grade classrooms at 8:30 a.m. to read to the children for 30-45 minutes. 10/08/2008 5si will release a digital only EP before the end of the year. The EP which is not yet titled will include scaled down acoustic versions of some favorites as well as newly reworked and previously unreleased songs. This release is part of what the band hopes will be a continuing effort to put out new music on a more ongoing basis. Kim Crawford Wines To Offer 5si Song For Download
09/10/2008 New Zealand wine company Kim Crawford will be offering a free download of the song Luckiest Man later this year in an area of their website called The Download Lounge. The lounge is expected to be up and running sometime in October.
